Abstract
This paper studies the design of flexible purchase contracts in supply chains under demand uncertainty and information asymmetry. In this setting, downstream buy-ers have complete information about the demand distribution, whereas suppliers can only rely on historical demand realizations and contract terms, resulting in limited knowledge of the true distribution. We first reveal the fragility of classical contract design methods in small-data regimes and illustrate typical cases where they may incur substantial losses. To address this issue, we propose a dual-source data-enhanced em-pirical distribution inference method based on inverse optimization. Building on this inference, we develop a dual-source data-driven Wasserstein distributionally robust optimization (DWDRO) framework for flexible purchase contract design. To evaluate the supplier’s worst-case profit, we design a decomposition approach that leverages set partitioning and Lagrangian duality to decouple the supplier’s pricing model from the identification of the downstream buyer’s admissible reservation bounds. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed framework effectively narrows the gap between the empirical and true demand distributions, improving the accuracy of demand esti-mation. Under small-data conditions, it also significantly enhances the out-of-sample worst-case profit of suppliers compared with classical WDRO models. These findings suggest that the proposed method provides upstream suppliers with an effective tool to hedge against information asymmetry in contract design.

孙慧苹 ,山东大学博士,研究面向数智时代下智能制造与供应链等复杂系统运营管理与决策能力提升重大需求,聚焦数据驱动的不确定管理决策优化方法创新与应用,特别是结合智能制造、智慧物流与供应链以及应急与医疗管理中的现实挑战,系统性地研究了网络优化、供应协议优化以及资源分配优化等核心问题,综合最优化方法、数据驱动决策方法等形成了系列研究成果。
论文方面:已完成论文9篇,其中已发表5篇,含经济管理类全球顶级UTD24期刊之一IJoC 1篇,JCR1区3篇;另有经济管理类全球顶级UTD24期刊之一MSOM修改中1篇。
实践方面:参与潍柴动力、冰轮环境企业横向委托项目2项,登记软件著作权2项,申请发明专利1项。
教学方面:作为副主编完成教材2部。
